A material choice shapes much more than a color palette. It influences the proportions of a worktop, the way an edge catches light and the character of the kitchen in daily use. EvolutaCONCRETE® is the starting point for this material language.
Concrete reinforced with glass fibers.
EvolutaCONCRETE® is Evoluta’s own GRC formulation, developed for outdoor kitchens and furniture. Glass fibers form part of its structure. This differs from treating a kitchen as an ordinary solid concrete casting and allows the material to be developed around architectural components.
Hand-finishing gives each surface texture and individuality. Subtle changes in tone are part of its character. When choosing a finish, consider it together with the fronts and structure rather than expecting every surface to read like a uniform printed color.
Read the evidence in context.
Published documentation includes mechanical and surface test methods, together with laboratory freeze-thaw and climate cycling. These tests help explain the examined material’s performance. They should be read with their conditions and scope, rather than as a promise about every possible installation.
The materials page brings the main references together, including the photographed mechanical test. For a specification, request the current documentation for the selected surface and discuss any project-specific exposure, equipment or installation requirements with the team.
Approve a sample, then plan the care.
View a physical sample alongside the terrace finishes and in different light. The same concrete tone can feel warmer beside timber and quieter beside stone. A deliberate palette connects the kitchen to the landscape without requiring every element to match.
Good ownership also begins with the care guidance. Follow the instructions for the selected finish, clean spills promptly and use a suitable trivet for hot cookware. Material character and considered everyday care belong in the same conversation.
For architects and designers, a useful material brief combines the intended appearance with the way the surface will be used. Keep the approved sample and current documentation with the project records so the specification remains clear through ordering and installation.
